About the memorial: Provide and place a memorial tablet on the outside of the south wall of the Chancel in memory of the parishioners who lost their lives in the Great War. That the said tablet is to be circular and of Green Marble enclosed by a wreath of laurel leaves and about three feet [89cm/35.04inch] in diameter. Faculty Book No 14, page 30 Description:- A circle of light green stone with a surrounding wreath of leaves, the surround being made of metal. All wording is incised, and there is an incised cross at the top centre of the memorial stone. Dimensions:- The circle is 69cm across, the surrounding wreath is 10cm in width.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
