About the memorial: Small paddle shaped flat wooden board placed in front of church war memorials but not attached to them. Sheet of white paper attached to board and printed lettering in black. Erected south wall of nave. In addition, a kneeler has been embroidered in his honour. War Memorials Online records this as a single war memorial because they both commemorate the same person with the paddle board more information than technically a war memorial, whereas IWM's War Memorials Register treats them as two different war memorials under their criteria see Links.
