About the memorial: Angel of Peace holding bronze plate with names and laurel wreath of Victory, behind the angel stands the cross surmounted by the crown of glory of varigated alabaster was unveiled and dedicated on Thursday 4th November 1920 by the Rev. Sub-Dean Leeke Erected on the south side of the west wall of the nave, the memorial is 5 feet 6 inches high The village memorial the Victory Hall opened July 1920.
