About the memorial: Four oak panels, made from former nave pews, identified as being from the old Forest of Rothbury. Each has a shallow arched top. The names are listed in a single column on each panel under a gold cross. Lettering is incised and painted gold. Running above these panels is a slender horizontal panel which bears the dedication in lettering raised in Roman capitals and painted gold on a painted blue background
