The Memorial Plaques dedicated to / Pte. Samuel Warboys and Pte Gordon Shiell / was unveiled by Councillor F. Fretwell, Chairman of / South Holland District Council on 11th May 2003 / In the presence of / Major General R. E. J. Gerrard Wright CB - CBE - DL / and members of the Royal Lincolnshire / and Royal Anglian Regimental Association.

Samuel Warboys, 22464685, Private, Royal Lincolnshire Regiment. Born Spalding 29th November 1932. Presumed killed in action 20th January 1952, aged 19, interred Moascar Cemetery, Egypt., commemorated Spalding St Paul's. Gordon Shiell, 22509636, Private, Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, attd King's Shropshire Light Infantry. Born Gateshead 29th December 1932. Presumed killed in action 28th July 1952, aged 19, interred U.N.Memorial Cemetery, Pusan, Korea.
