About the memorial: Latin type cross although heavily inwardly inclined from wide base to narrow top. Deep decorative groove along all edges and across width of upper section to form 2 panels. Circle with letters HIS surrounded by thorn in upper panel, inscribed self coloured lettering in lower panel. Grave space possibly surrounded by square kerb sections but this unclear.
