About the memorial: Gravespace delineated by grey rough hewn square kerbstones around all sides. Vertical rectangular rough hewn red stone headstone with slightly splayed sides stands on grey horizontal rectangular rough hewn base stone. Centre of headstone smoothed, edges remain rough hewn. Small leaf decoration to top left of headstone, inscription in black on remainder of face. Slight Lichen contamination toward top. Small plain grey rectangle of stone propped at 45 degrees against base stone has inscribed self coloured lettering. Splay sided vase within space, which is capped and covered by grey gravel.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
