About the memorial: Vertical rectangular grey stone with triangular top and Ogee shoulders, stone narrows slightly below shoulders before widening immediately above base. Stands on small horizontal chamfered foundation stone. Inscribed rose flower within trefoil decoration to top centre of headstone with part dedication above, majority of dedication beneath and all lettering in black lead
