About the memorial: A tall, rustic grey granite cenotaph with a series of two low steps of dressed stone, and three steps of rustic blocks forming the base of the monument. The bronze tablets bearing the names of the dead are set into the lower face (1 for each conflict, plus a 2nd small additional plaque for WW1 directly below the main one), and a cross with reversed sword is carved in relief in the upper face.
