About the memorial: On Empire Day 1922 a Roll of Honour was unveiled showing the seventy-one names of the scholars who had lost their lives in the Great War. regrettably this Roll has been lost. The school have been researching the people from the school via log books , CWGC and other local memorials and have now recreated their memorial. It will be installed on the outside of the school and dedicated on November 11th 2016 The plaque is made of bronze. The artist David Mackie designed the plaque.
