About the memorial: Proposed to provide and place a memorial tablet and niche on the East wall of the nave of the parish church of Skendleby to the south of the Chancel arch in memory of those parishioners who lost their lives in the Great War. That the said tablet is to be of stone and about five feet by a about three feet three inches in size and is to bear the following inscription, namely: Designed by Wilfrid Bond of Grantham Faculty Book 14, page 218.
