About the memorial: Inside the concert hall to the right of the bar is mounted a case containing two silver shields on a wood backing on which are embossed the names of club members who died in the Great War and Second World War Stylised pewter shield mounted onto a wooden backboard. Incised inscription. Shield is mounted within a glazed case of 520 by 360mm Wreath hanging from a ribbon is depicted on the left hand side of the base of the shield that has been cut out. Medallion is depicted at the top centre of the shield. It depicts the figures of mourning on the left and victory on the right. Trophies of war lie at their feet.

The inscription round the edge of the medallion for the Great War reads at top “The Great European War 1914” and at bottom “He died for Freedom and Honour” with the year 1918 under the dove of peace at the top of medallion “In proud and glorious memory of the members of Brumby & Frodingham Working Men’s Social Club Who fell in the Great War”
