About the memorial: Horizontal rectangular grey stone originally with small plain square post to each side bottom corner, left post now missing. Flower filled right angled decorative panel to each side starts close to top centre and extends along top before dropping down each side, three vertical decorative parallel lines to each side beneath panel. Inscribed self coloured lettering at centre

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

Walter Harrison. Private 41133. 1st Battalion, Highland Light Infantry, formerly 15420 5th Reserve Cavalry. Died at sea 15th April 1917, aged 23 years (as CWGC/ 24 years on memorial). Son of Mr and Mrs J H Harrison of 3 Laneham Street, Scunthorpe, Lincs. Born Scunthorpe, Lincs, enlisted York, YKS and resident Scunthorpe, Lincs. Missing and commemorated Chatby Memorial
