About the memorial: Horizontal rectangular grey stone originally with small plain square post to each side bottom corner, left post now missing. Flower filled right angled decorative panel to each side starts close to top centre and extends along top before dropping down each side, three vertical decorative parallel lines to each side beneath panel. Inscribed self coloured lettering at centre

Walter Harrison. Private 41133. 1st Battalion, Highland Light Infantry, formerly 15420 5th Reserve Cavalry. Died at sea 15th April 1917, aged 23 years (as CWGC/ 24 years on memorial).
