About the memorial: On the left-hand (north) wall towards the rear of the nave. A marble tablet within an ornately carved stone frame surround, commemorating the death of Francis Stoneham Montagu Wren, Lieutenant in the wnd Bengal Cavalry, who fell at Cawnpore in the Indian Mutiny.
