About the memorial: Within the churchyard, to the south of the church. Addition to the gravestone of Sidney Hearn, also commemorating his brother Arthur Hearn, who was killed in action at Mametz Wood, France, on 11 July, 1916, aged 28.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

In Loving memory of SIDNEY HEARN, Who died December 9th 1897, Aged 11 years. Also of, ARTHUR, Brother of the above who was killed in the Mametz Wood France, July 11th 1916, aged 28 years. The memory of the just is blessed. _____ Also of THOMAS HEARN, Father of the above Who died Jan. 19th 1932, Aged 82 years. Resting. Also of MARY SNELL BRAUND HEARN, Wife of the above Passed peacefully away May 3rd 1941, Aged 84 years. Together with the Lord.
