About the memorial:
Wall mounted single sheet of vertical white parchment behind glass and framed by slim dark wooden frame. Parchment shows multi coloured Royal Arms to top left, date of start of WW1 to top centre, Union flag to top right and dates of armistice and end of war to bottom left and right respectively. All dates are joined by wide strip of green leaves criss-crossed in gold. Part dedication in blue and red lettering to top followed by multi coloured list of names and arms of service. Casualties are denoted by a gold cross beside the name. Remainder of dedication follows names in blue and red and the name of the calligrapher concerned in the making of the document is in small black lettering at the very bottom of the parchment sheet beneath the green leafed framing.
980 x 580 x 20mm Calligrapher was Phoebe Rennell (1922).
