About the memorial: A large photograph of former Teddington Council School master Walter Brown, dedicated November 1915. The photograph is still at the school, now called Stanley Primary. Every year during the Remembrance Day ceremony, the photograph is placed on the school war memorial (WMO63127). A copy of the photograph and its inscription is also incorporated in the information board next to that memorial.
