About the memorial: The memorial window was donated by Mr and Mrs J H Lewis in memory of their son, Clifford Lewis, a Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force VR, who was killed on 28th December 1943. The stained glass window is by Abbott & Co and was erected and dedicated in 1957. The window is sited in the war memorial corner of Partick Methodist Church. There is a brass memorial plaque dedicated to Clifford Lewis mounted on the oak panelling in the memorial corner.

To the glory of God and in memory of Mr & Mrs J H Lewis and their son Clifford, devoted workers in this Church, erected 1957.
