About the memorial: Vertical rectangular stone with Ogee top dropping to straight sides. Rectangular recessed panel toward top of stone has heavily decorated carved frame and contains part inscription. Raised plain vertical rectangular panel below holds remainder of inscription. All lettering in black lead, some heavily faded and partially missing

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

Walter Berry. Private 161100. 31st Battalion, Canadian Infantry. Born West Pinchbeck 16th November 1887, emigrated c1908, enlisted 1915 and died 29th September 1916. Son of Thomas and Eliza Berry of West Pinchbeck, Lincs. Buried Boulogne Eastern Cemetery. VIII.C.162.
