About the memorial: Wall-mounted carved and painted wooden board. Nowy-headed. Names in two columns in gilt lettering. Decorative carving around all four borders. Three figures at top of sailor, nurse and soldier. Flags and guns at either side. Plane along base border. Garland below plane bears inscription. Bottom left corner bears the image of the English rose and the bottom right corner the Welsh leek.
