About the memorial:
The newly appointed Bishop of Lincoln, the Rev. Canon W.S. Swayne, M.A., visited Moulton on Thursday afternoon last, when he dedicated the War Memorial in the Parish Church, and conducted a confirmation service.
The War Memorial, which took the form of a beautiful tablet, with the names of all the men was inscribed: “In memory of these from this parish who fell in the Great War 1914 – 1919,” and below was the inscription “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his live for his friends.”
