About the memorial: Higher up the wall and to the east of the WW2 tablet is a white marble background 930 x 760mm, there are 2 very small decorative supports beneath the lower edge, one toward each corner. Attached to the stone is a large rectangular plaque with a decorative foliate border. There are foliate motifs at the top, either side of The Regimental Badge of The Sherwood Rangers Imperial Yeomanry, and at the lower sides are the crossed flags of the Royal Standard and the Union Jack. The lettering is in black with white capitals.
