About the memorial: A brass plaque with columnar sides supporting an elaborate set of arches with crossed guns beneath and crown above. The dedication and 12 names are in raised lettering. The memorial is at the east end of the nave, on the north side of the tower arch behind the pulpit. The church is also known as St Mary and All Saints' Church. Rykneld Square was formerly known as Church Way .
