About the memorial: This is a brass plate on hardwood back measuring 350mm wide and 220mm high and is situated on the wall of the south aisle beneath the Roll of Honour. Eliza Annie Maulkinson, 82 Monks Road in the City of Lincoln, widow has placed a memorial tablet on the south wall of the nave of the Parish Church of Mablethorpe St. Mary on the east side of the easternmost window there in memory of her son. The said tablet is of brass about one foot one inch by about eight inches in size and bears the following inscription namely: “In ever loving memory of Lieut. Harry Young Maulkinson, 7^th Battn., Lincs. Regt. Wounded in France April 23rd and entered into rest June 4th 1917” Faculty Book 13, page 284, 8-7-1919
