About the memorial: Memorial Plaque to the crew of IX Sqn Avro Lincoln RF474 who were killed in a flying accident on 30/04/48 The aircraft was en-route to Malta undertaking a Long-Range NAVEX when the aircraft flew into a Thunderstorm. The aircraft suffered in-flight structural failure and the tail assembly separated from the aircraft - which then crashed at Verquieres, France All nine aircrew, including two on loan from 617 Sqn - along with two additional members of IX Sqn's Ground Crew were killed

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
