Stone of Remembrance: When you go home,/ tell them of us and say,/ for your tomorrow, we gave our today. Plaque on the Railway: This is a symbolic representation of the/ Burma Railway, which was built in Thailand by/ Allied Prisoners of War of the Japanese./ This memorial is a tribute to those who were forced/ to construct the infamous 'Railway of Death',/ many of whom paid the ultimate sacrifice./ Those Prisoners of War who survived became/ holders of the Burma Star.
