About the memorial: To provide and place a memorial tablet at the eastern end of the south wall of the nave of the parish church of All Saints, Lincoln. That the said memorial tablet is to be of dark clouded marble on Caen stone and about three feet six inches by about three feet The dedication of the War Memorial erected by the parishioners and friends of All Saints Church, Monks Road, Lincoln, in honour of the men of the parish who died during the war, took place on Sunday evening. Dedicated by the Bishop of Lincoln (Right Rev. W. S. Swayne). The 53 names are in white enamel on a ground and polished black stone, while the carved boarder is of white stone corresponding with the walls of the church. The work has been carried out by Messrs. Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.
