About the memorial: The memorial is overlooking the east end of Loch Kinellan beside the minor road along the south side of the Loch off A834 about 1 mile SW of Strathpeffer. The drop down menu does not have an entry for "in open countryside" so a park will have to do. Plaque on the sloping face of a rough hewn stone plinth, recording the names of 65 regimental casualties of the war (the Regimental Roll of Honour has a 66th name- Lance Corporal Robert McKee, attached KOSB, died 16 March 1951). The names are inscribed either side of an inscribed regimental badge. The Dedication is at top centre, and there is an epitaph at bottom centre below the badge.
