Can you help?

We would like to know the current location and condition of this memorial, or if it has been irretrievably lost. If appropriate, please also update the memorial’s location and address, add a condition update and photographs.

Status: Lost/missing
Type: Non freestanding
Location: Internal
Setting: Inside a building - public/private
Description: Altar or Altar Part
Lettering: Inscribed on a plaque
About the memorial: Sacrilege to call a UFC communion table an altar but the drop-down menu offers no choice. This memorial is recorded by the IWM Register on the basis of a press cutting reporting an oak communion table and scroll with 16 names, which are listed in IWM Register 80315. The building is at risk and at one stage was roofless. The contents are believed to have been cleared. Might the communion table and accompanying scroll be on the nearby parish church? See the IWM Register link for various press and historical links.
