About the memorial: Small rectangular black marble headstone with wings. Gold inscribed lettering. Wings join kerbstones around entire grave space, plain square posts to each corner and at half-way point along each length of kerbs. Large round black vase in grave space. Slight sinkage of kerbstone farthest from headstone

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

Cyrus Augustus Marshall. Died HMS ‘Circassia’ 21st March 1942. CWGC has rank noted as Gunner and commemorated Chatham Naval Memorial, but no other name seen as commemorated in this grave space.
