About the memorial: A most creditable roll of honour of members of the Little London (Spalding) P.M. Sunday School, serving with H.M. Forces, was hung in the school on Sunday evening. It contains thirty names which are inscribed on a beautiful illuminated card. Handsomely framed. A special service was held to mark the occasion, Mr. Smithson, of Holbeach, giving an appropriate address, and the singing being led by a string band, composed of Messrs. W, Walling, Edwards, G. Percival, and G. Vine, and Miss N. Delaboy at the organ. Lincolnshire Free Press – 19 October 1915 – page 10. the church closed in 1985, and certainly up to 1995 was used as a storehouse, it is possible that the Roll is still in the building since you can see through the gap in the front doors and the wall is lined with bookshelves full of books, like a library
