About the memorial: The memorial takes the form of a beautiful wooden lectern paid by money raised by the Old Boston Association. The appeal raised about £1000. The woodwork was prepared by Mr. J. Grimble, the school’s art master, and the lettering is by Mr. George Mansell (London), on of the country’s leading typographers.
