About the memorial: A simple red sandstone tri-cornered cross on a square base mounted on an octagonal plinth which is set on a large rough pavestoned area, a dedication to WW1 and WW2 is on the front face only. Behind the cross are 3 sandstone triangular pillars cut at an angle at the top. Each pillar has one word on the top (Lest, We and Forget) and names from WW1, WW2 and 'Other Conflicts' on the left and right front faces of each pillar.
