About the memorial: Memorial to Lieutenant Wymond N R Pole Carew, 1st Battalion the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry. Educated at Marlborough College 1910-14. Gazetted Second Lieutenant in the 2/4th Battalion the Wiltshire Regiment and was Aide-de-Camp to H.E. Lord Willingdon , Governor of Bombay 1915-16. Attended the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, 1916 and won the Gold Medal. Commissioned into the 1st Battalion Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry. He was killed aged 21 years during the Second Battle of Passchendaele when his battalion as part of 13 Infantry Brigade carried out an attack on Polderhoek Chateau. He is also commemorated on Panels 80 to 82 and 163A of the Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Arrondissement Ieper, West Flanders

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
