Son of George Walter Lewis Marriott (corn merchant) and Jessie Maud Marriott (nee Russell) of 2 Burlington Mansions, Highgate, London. Commissioned into the Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment). Killed in action on the Somme aged 19 years.
