About the memorial: Memorial to Lieutenant Donald Charles Mackenzie, 1st Battalion the Seaforth Highlanders. The only son of Donald Frazer and Maria Cecilia Mackenzie of Camberley. Baptised on 5 Dec 1891 in Calcutta, Bengal, India. Educated at Charterhouse School 1905-1909. Gentleman Cadet at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. Commissioned into the Seaforth Highlanders 1911. Wounded at Festubert, France 22 Dec 1914. Died in Boulogne, France. Buried in Section XI, Grave 7X in St Peter's Churchyard, Frimley, Surrey.
