About the memorial: Recumbent marble stone in form of flat page open book with black lead lettering. Left page dedicated to Herbert Humberstone and right to Arthur Humberstone. Majority of lettering missing. Possibly originally supported by rest which now lies broken beneath book.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment). Son of Mr. W. Humberstone, of 36, Poplar Rd., Cleethorpes. Buried at CLEETHORPES CEMETERY. C. B. 10. Born Great Coates, enlisted Cleethorpes.
