About the memorial: Memorial garden created in 2001 to enclose the Amble war memorial clock tower and the memorial moved to here from neighbouring Radcliffe after the village was demolished and the residents moved to Amble. Contains an Armistice 100 peace sculpture with doves and poppies, and benches commemorating each world war (installed November 2018. Blacksmith: Stephen Lunn).
