About the memorial: To provide and place a memorial tablet on the north wall of the nave of the Parish Church of Cowbit in memory of the parishioners who lost their lives in the Great War The centre portion of the said tablet is to be of white marble with a dull red marble frame on a black marble background, and to be about four feet three inches by about three feet four inches and to bear the following inscription namely: Faculty Book 14, page 184.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
