About the memorial: Electrical lighting system and associated board. Lighting system consists of 5 hanging ceiling lights distributed around church and 2 wall lights, one to each side of Chancel. Wall lights are of black metal and single bulb holder only. Ceiling lights are suspended on long chain from ceiling to small metal circle to which is attached 4 chains, these hold a larger black metal circle below on which are mounted 4 copper coloured bulb holders. Associated board is a simple wall mounted horizontal rectangular dark wooden board with the only decoration being a single slim black line around all edges framing the centre field, which holds the dedication. All lettering is in black. 190 x 220 x 10mm, erected on the south wall of the nave west of door.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
