Setting: Inside a building - public/private
Description: Board/Plaque/ Tablet
Materials:
  • Metal Metal (any)

Conflicts:
  • First World War (1914-1918)
About the memorial: Decorated metal tablet commemorating William Stewart Stewart (Left Hand Side) and Duncan McNeill Fox Tarratt (Right Hand Side) on internal wall of Christ Church, Lochgilphead. Please note that the title of the IWM Register entry describes the first of these as William Stewart Stewart despite the fact that his father's surname is clearly given as Tarratt. Something strange is going on here. Either the plaque erroneously repeated the word Stewart, or he had a different surname to his father.
