About the memorial: Roll of Honour, with Red Latin cross at top and names in 4 columns. Entered on the IWM Register in December 2018 but with no indication of its present whereabouts, the chapel having been demolished in 2004. There is a Baptist Church nearby and an Anglican church in nearby Lumb, so it may be in one of those. Enquiries needed. The church and memorial appear in the Rossendale Family History website but without answering the question of present whereabouts. However, their photo was taken in 2016, so it must be somewhere and perhaps an approach to the RFHS might help. The memorial has the look of a WW1 Roll of Honour, but Jack Ormerod was killed in 1942 and is named on the Plymouth Naval Memorial to the Missing. See Rossendale links.
