About the memorial: Vertical rectangular headstone with oval top, narrows slightly below top and widens toward base, stands on horizontal rectangular base. Scroll type decoration follows top, faux vertical column decoration to each side, oval panel toward stone top centre holds two clasped hands with ivy leaves to each side of panel. Centre section slightly raised and holds commemoration in black lettering, now partially missing.
