About the memorial: Rectangular Sicilian marble tablet, with single-string border and engraved inscription in black lettering. c1975: the Police Station at Swinburne Street was vacated. The memorial was subsequently moved to the Gateshead Police Station in High West Street. Unveiled 16 January 1920 by Councillor J. Maccoy (Chairman of the Watch Committee). It is in the foyer of the main entrance.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
