About the memorial: A Shrine, similar to a triptych, a cupboard containing a crucifix, with the names on the inside of the doors. Finish is a dark walnut stain. A note on the memorial reads: "This wooden War Shrine was dedicated in August 1918. It stood outside the church until 1920 when the granite War Memorial Cross placed there was dedicated."
