About the memorial: Proposed by our petitioner Louisa Calthrop to provide and place a memorial tablet on the north wall of the chancel of the parish church of Gosberton about thirteen feet from the ground and about one foot below another memorial tablet of the same family, as Everard Ferguson Calthorp in whose memory the said memorial tablet is proposed to be erected. That the said proposed tablet is to be of Hopton Stone the size being about two feet by about one foot with the following inscription namely: Faculty Book 13, page 162, dated 9th October 1917.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
