About the memorial: Memorial to Lieutenant Cyril Cazalet Harrison, Worcestershire Regiment. Son of Hilda Beaumont Harrison, of Westral Court, Hatherley Road, Cheltenham, and the late Harry Cazalet Harrison. Grandson of Lieutenant General M W Willoughby C.S.I., Indian Army. Educated at Dunchurch Hall near Rugby and Uppingham School. Gentleman Cadet at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst 1910-11. Commissioned into the Worcestershire Regiment 4 Mar 1911. Killed in action on the Aisne, France aged 23 years when serving with the 3rd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment, was reinforcing the Irish Rifles with his platoon was shot in the head while directing fire from the trenches. Commemorated on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial, La Ferte-sous-Jouarre, Departement de Seine-et-Marne, Île-de-France, France. Also commemorated on a WW1 memorial in St Stephen's Church, Cheltenham and on the Cheltenham War Memorial.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
