About the memorial: Memorial to Captain Paul Brian Gell, 1st Battalion 13th Frontier Force Rifles (Coke's). Son of Lt Col Humphrey Vickers Gell (1891-1963), formerly of the Indian Army, and Nina Gell (nee Lewis), of Camberley, Surrey. Cadet at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. Commissioned into the Indian Army 31 Dec 1939. Mentioned in Despatches. Killed in action aged 20 years. Buried in grave 4. B. 8. of Taiping War Cemetery, Taiping, Perak, Malaysia. Also commemorated on the war memorial in Castletown, Isle of Man.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
