About the memorial: A commemorative bench to a Granthamian who was killed by a bomb in Ireland 27 years ago, is to take a deserving spot on St Peter’s Hill. Note A memorial window was also placed in his old school but Pte Peacock's family are now looking for a permanent home for the window after the school was demolished.
