About the memorial: Provision and placing on the South Wall of the Nave of a tablet of Oak about four feet by about two feet six inches in size with the following inscription thereon, namely: 1956 Faculty Book, page 21 dated 24th February. Following the demolition of St Matins the board was placed in St Faiths (Now St Faiths and St Martins), unfortunately the original board was lost as a result of a fire and replaced by that depicted.
